COMBI PLAN 0.0 mm redefines the meaning of “barrier-free.”

Our tolerance for barrier-free construction is no longer thresholds 20 millimetres high. For us, the barrier is zero.

Table of contents

Our tolerance for barrier-free construction is no longer thresholds 20 millimetres high. For us, the barrier is zero.

COMBI PLAN is a completely uncompromising solution, ideal wherever comfort and safety come first. The threshold, perfectly flush with the finished floor, can be crossed without the risk of tripping by everyone – small children, elderly people, or those with mobility difficulties.
The zero-threshold COMBI PLAN system poses no obstacle for prams, walkers, or wheelchairs. It is suitable both for the high-standard private market and for public buildings, hospitals, senior homes, kindergartens, and many more.

COMBI PLAN and tightness

This unique floor-level system ensures proper protection against wind and water thanks to the integrated drop-down seal. The double-hook system provides additional burglary resistance (RC2 class) as well as the tilt-and-turn functionality required by many users.

Application

These thresholds are used in inward- and outward-opening entrance doors, tilt-and-turn balcony doors with both fixed and floating mullions, and single- and double-leaf doors with a floating mullion. They are compatible with leading PVC and timber profile systems. The thresholds can be used with the following systems: Aluplast 7000, Salamander BE82, Gealan 9000, VEKA SL82, Profine 76, Schüco Living, as well as wooden doors.

Key benefits for the user

  • Exceptional comfort, thresholds flush with the floor surface
  • A threshold with no resistance or height difference is almost unnoticeable
  • Higher comfort than the standard requires, where thresholds up to 20 mm are still considered barrier-free
  • The highest possible safety thanks to protection against prying of hook locks in both the tilted and closed positions
  • Possible certified security class RC2
  • Zero barrier while maintaining high tightness
  • Tilt-and-turn design
  • Certified systems

Technical data

  • On a standard threshold with a thermal break
  • possibility of using an additional, system-integrated linear drainage
  • sealing with a drop-down gasket
  • possibility of an additional locking point in the threshold
  • water tightness class 8A according to DIN EN 1027
  • air permeability class 4 according to DIN EN 1026
  • wind load class C3 according to DIN EN 12211

Scope of application

  • Maximum sash weight 220 kg (depending on the hinge side)
  • For single-leaf and double-leaf doors with a floating mullion
  • For rectangular constructions
  • For timber and PVC
