The dust has barely settled after dismantling the exhibition stands at the Accessibility Forum, and we are already summarising our participation. It was a successful time during which we gained a great deal of valuable knowledge, developed many new ideas and significantly broadened our horizons.

The second edition of the Forum showed that interest in the topic of accessibility is growing, more and more people are attending such events, and the issue itself is becoming increasingly urgent.

The high attendance, the wide variety of visitors and the range of solutions presented at the stands confirmed the multidimensional nature of the issue and strengthened our conviction that Alumaster’s barrier-free threshold systems are not only timely, but far ahead of future needs.

Participation in the Forum gave us the opportunity to establish contacts with governmental and non-governmental institutions. It also allowed us to gain knowledge about upcoming legal amendments and the state’s actions aimed at increasing broadly understood accessibility.

We are pleased that the barrier-free thresholds we presented (magnetic MHT, MFAT and the aluminium Combi Plan 0.0 mm) attracted interest, sparked enthusiasm and even brought relief to some visitors who realised that such solutions are available on the market.

Apart from our exhibition at the Accessibility Forum, our colleague Krzysztof Zieliński also gave a presentation on accessible and barrier-free window and door joinery. His talk fitted perfectly into the entire lecture series and expanded the range of solutions discussed in the earlier panel on adapting residential buildings for people with disabilities.

We hope that the contacts made during the Forum will bear fruit in the near future and will have a real impact on improving the quality of life for many elderly people, wheelchair users and those with impaired mobility.
